BRIEF

Design of a manual juicer. The material to be used must be a thermoplastic and the product must be manufactured by injection moulding.

THERMOPLASTIC USED

Top part: PP. It is a semy-crystalline polymer (good mechanical properties), low-cost, with a good service temperature (dishwasher safe) and good citric acid durability.

Bottom part: TPU. It has good compressive strength and good adhesion (so that it doesn't slip on the jar when used).

Increased functionality: the container has a funnel function, allowing citrus fruit to be squeezed directly into jars.
